Indiana University Bloomington is included in the Campus Pride list of the top 50 LGBT-friendly colleges and universities for 2014, which was announced today.
Earlier this summer nine Indiana high school students departed for Hangzhou, China, with Stephanie Goetz, managing director of the IU Honors Program in Foreign Languages. The students returned with a greater understanding of the Chinese language and culture, as well as a stronger sense of self.
"This is not your grandfather's School of Public Health," says Michael Reece, associate dean of the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington. "I think this is really a new, innovative, effective way of looking at public health issues in a completely multidisciplinary fashion."
