Indiana University will increase the minimum wage paid to university employees to $8.25 an hour effective with the start of the new fiscal year on July 1. The minimum wage at IU was last increased in July 2009 at the same time the federal minimum wage rate was last raised.
The strategic plan for the Indiana University Bloomington campus is nearing completion some eight months after the planning process kicked off, Provost and Executive Vice President Lauren Robel said this week in her 2014 State of the Campus address. Robel said the plan demonstrates that members of the campus community have come together to create a vision of academic excellence as the university approaches its 2020 bicentennial celebration.
